The Queens Head is a popular wedding venue near Peterborough and provides an idyllic & peaceful setting for wedding receptions & wedding ceremonies. The traditional Inn, warm hospitality, superb food from locally sourced produce and the setting on the banks of the River Nene combine to make the Queens Head Inn one of the most sought after wedding venues in Northamptonshire.

For wedding receptions the bright, air conditioned, Garden Room can comfortably accommodate up to 70 guests for a sit down wedding reception and has a dance floor for evening receptions and that all important first dance. If you would like to have a wedding reception in a marquee then we can provide quotations for a marquee to be erected on the lawn by the River Nene and personalised to your own requirements.

The Queens Head is licensed by Northamptonshire County Council as an approved venue for wedding & civil ceremonies. Please click here for the Council's latest fees. Exclusive Use Option of the Queens Head Inn
Have you considered having the exclusive use of the entire Queens Head Inn for your wedding? The Exclusive Use Option is available for just £9,750 and includes the wedding reception package of your choice, 10 comfortable bedrooms for one night with welcome packs for our guests, full English breakfast, use of the bar, restaurant & gardens, car parking and other facilities at the Inn.

This is without a doubt a wonderful way to ensure a truly intimate and exclusive wedding reception in a beautiful setting.

The Exclusive Use Option is based on 60 days guests and an additional 60 evening guests using the Garden Suite & includes VAT @ 20% service and the wedding reception catering. A wedding ceremony, if required, other catering, bar drinks and additional nights accommodation are not included. Exclusive use commences at 12 noon and concludes at 10am the following day.
